Disney Wonder
The Wonder is one of the classic ships in the Disney Cruise Line and the second to set sail. She delivers all of the feelings you would expect from the vintage ocean liners of the past in a modern vessel. Grand staircases, regal chandeliers and elegant touches at every turn are what you'll find from the minute you board the Wonder. On this ship you can easily picture Walt and Lillian strolling along the promenade just like in the picture you'll find in your stateroom. She's not as big as her younger sisters but the Wonder is every bit as amazing....in someways more so. I have cruised on the Wonder 4 times. Twice with Jason, once with my mom and once with other family. I've done both the 3 night and 4 night cruises to the Bahamas. Though I'll take the three night cruise anytime, it just leaves you wanting more!! A little warning -there's a lot of musical ships going on in Port Canaveral right now. So if it's your port of choice you'll have to make sure that the Wonder is there when you want to cruise. You may find that the Dream is your only choice for 3 and 4 night cruises when you are booking. There are a variety of itineraries on the Wonder if your port options are flexible. Click on the following itineraries for more information.
And now, a little about the ship -
The Wonder, as I stated before, was Disney's second introduction to it's fleet. The Magic and The Wonder are affectionately referred to as the Classic ships at DCL (not the small ones or the old ones!) Like the Magic, the Wonder has 11 decks and spans a total length of 964 feet. She accommodates 2,700 passengers and has 950 crew members. If you want to feel like you are at home on the sea, she's the ship for you. For many the classic ships are their favorite because of the cozier feeling they provide.

For most people, dining is one of the first things that comes to mind when they think of cruising. DCL does not disappoint. There are 3 main dining rooms that you rotate through on your cruise, Triton's, Animator's Palette and Parrot Cay. Your wait staff will rotate with you so you have the same amazing servers each night. Your dining experience doesn't end there. You also have the option of Beach Blanket Buffet for each meal or room service if you choose. For an adult only dining experience (and a small additional fee) try Palo. You will NOT be sad you did it..... not even a little bit.
On all Disney ships there are adult areas and family areas. On the Wonder you'll find the following areas for the kids -
The Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge, Quarter Masters, Studio C, Vibe and for the babies who need a place to stay while Mom and Dad go out, Flounder's Reef Nursery.

In addition to the clubs for kids there are family pools on deck where the kids can have a blast while parents soak up the rays.
I've only traveled on the Wonder with other adults, so the adult only areas of the ship were a great place to get in a little quiet time. Whether it's lounging by the pool or totally relaxing at the spa, adults are totally pampered on the Wonder.
When the adults are finished relaxing and ready to hit the dance floor or just have a drink, there are plenty of options .
