One of my favorite ways to research a trip is Googlemaps. (please don't comment on how much you hate it if you do, also, it's silly if you hate it.) Ok, back to travel tips. So, you go to Googlemaps and search the area you are traveling to. Turn on the picture function. On the right you should have a dropdown that lets you look at traffic, weather, webcams and photos. These are photos that other people have posted from that area. It's a great way to see what the hotspots are and treasures other people have found. I found Burg Hohenzollern and the castle in Frankenstein, both in Germany, this way. Sometimes I look around even if I'm not planning a trip. There are some really beautiful pictures on there. Anyhoo, give it a try and see what hidden gem you stumble upon. - Tega
